THE JUST DANCE WORLD CUP FINDS ITS UK NATIONAL CHAMPION

Following the intense Online Qualifiers phases, and the heated Just Dance World Cup UK National Finals (held at this year's Insomnia Gaming Festival), the UK has a new National Champion:
Alex "Fuzzyduck99" Kain

Alex Kain qualified for this year's Just Dance World Cup through the Online Qualifiers stages, together with returning champion, Mitchell Carlos D'Abreu, and Thomas Griffiths Brown.

The Online Qualifiers were joined by the five Offline Qualifiers, who moved through to the National Final stage of the competition by participating in a score-based Just Dance 2018 tournament on the Just Dance Stage at the Insomnia Gaming Festival. The Offline Qualifiers included:

- Ruby True
- Cody Eddington
- Kai Smith
- Alicia Giaccone-Munn
- Jamie Deacon

After the Quarterfinals of the National Finals saw Kai, Alicia, Jamie and Thomas leave the competition, the semi-finals featured Ruby taking on Cody, and Alex competing against Mitchell, for a chance to reach the UK National Final. Ruby bested Cody to enter the final stage of the competition, while Alex took down the reigning champion, Mitchell. Alex went on the beat Ruby, 2-0, to become the UK's National Champion.

This year's competition was an amazing experience for everyone involved, and over the next few weeks, the National Finalists from all territories will be confirm ahead of the Just Dance World Cup 2019 Grand Finals.
